Hotel rooms in Kyiv can be reserved via the Internet

The site of host city Kyiv has launched an online reservation system of hotels and other accommodation facilities for the period of the finals of the European Football Championship in 2012. A new interactive service will allow guests of the continental championship to quickly and easily reserve rooms for themselves and their friends in accommodation establishments in the capital.
According to UEFA requirements it is necessary to ensure accommodation of 17,907 fans in Kyiv during Euro-2012.
As of today contracts have already been signed for 21,000 beds to accommodate fans in the capital. Agreement has also been reached with rectors of Kyiv universities to place fans in college dormitories to the tune of 15,000 beds.
